The compassionate Shri Radhe Guru Maa

Mamtamai Shri Guru Maa Radhe was born in the village of Dorangla in the Gurudaspur district of Punjab, India.  Shri Radhe Guru Maa has always been a humanitarian and compassionate since her childhood days.  She is a selfless human being, and has been like this even as a child. Shri Radhe Guru Maa always offered her lunch to the underprivileged kids when she was young.

At an age where kids play with toys, Shri Radhe Guru Maa was always keen on devoting her free time towards the ‘bhakti’ of Lord Bholenath. Shri Radhe Guru Maa used to spend her time in a Kali Temple which was in her vicinity, where she would recite ‘Gurbaani’ and loved it too.

When Shri Radhe Guru Maa turned 18, her parents married her off; she was very young and was not prepared for such an extreme change in her life. After a couple of years, Shri Radhe Guru Maa’s husband left the country to explore business opportunities in foreign lands.

This left her with a lot of spare time on her hands, which helped her to explore the spiritual side through steadfast ‘bhaki’ of Lord Bholenath. She took up the initiative of teaching sewing to the other women and girls in and around her village. Thanks to this initiative, a number of women in the village became independent and helped supplement their family income.

In her spare time, she recited the Gurbaani and dedicated the rest praying and seeking the blessings of Durga Maa and Lord Shiva. She also believed that service to God can be achieved through service through humanity.  Keeping this in mind, working towards the underprivileged and helping those in need were her utmost priority.  Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa's sensitive, kind, generous personality has attracted number of devotees to her ’charan’.

Shri Radhe Guru Maa has always been compassionate and a selfless human being. She also guides her devotees towards the path of humanity and selfless service to the society.  Shri Radhe Guru Maa Ji’s teachings revolve around the principle of devoting oneself to God in the form of regular bhakti and ritualistic worship of Lord Shiva and Devi Mata.
